Coach Update
The pic is a little blurry but this is the driver side slide about 1/2 reassembled after a complete rebuild.
It appears the culprit to the leaks in the front slides was the failure to install slide stops. This caused the slides to overextend everytime they were put out and stress out seams and joints, which of course started leaking. Both slide boxes have been rebuilt, all seals around all three slides have been replaced, drip cups and drainage channels have been added. The coach should be going into the Monaco "hurricane tunnel" for wind and water test by Thursday. We are hoping to be back in it for this weekend!
We hope to be back on the road by early next week after passing the test and living in it at "camp Monaco" for a few days to make sure everything is fixed to our satisfaction.
Meanwhile, back at the Residence Inn in Eugene, we have been taking advantage of the access to the trail system along the Willamette River. We have been doing a hike or bike ride along the river everyday. We also like the ability to get just about anywhere in town on your bike. We need to make it a requirement, when we move back into a sticks and bricks, to be close to "green space" bike paths!
