Paso Robles, Ca; Leaks!
AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!
With all of this rain, we have developed some leaks in the coach! We started out with 3 leaks, one above the entrance door, one in the window just behind the door and the street side slide out. The leak on the slide out is by far the worst. We have water coming in from both windows and from the top cabinets. Fortunately, it stopped when I brought the slide in; So, at the very least, we can isolate it to the slide and not coming from the roof or the windows directly. I did manage to repair the door leak by re-caulking around the door frame. We have an appt in Gilroy, CA, near our next destination of Monterey, to figure out the situation.
With all of the rain, there is not much else to report, Monday was pretty much an inside day. For me, it was a work day, calling accounts, getting orders, doing bills and bank statements. Laura worked on changing all of our addresses; We are officially changing our residency to South Dakota, mainly for the tax, vehicle registration and mail service advantages!
On the blog, you'll notice a few changes! I'm slowly starting to figure out this HTML language crap! We now have sections for our current location (with weather info in Fahrenheit and Celsius!) friend's journals, a links section and a google tool bar. The search box comes along with some advertising, but, think this is a very useful tool. We have gotten a few e-mails looking for information on things we have done or places we visit. Now, you can use the tool bar right in our blog to seek out more information. There is also a 'Fire Fox' button. This is a web browser I would highly recommend. I switched over to it before we left on the trip when I had 'spyware' issues. Have never had any issues since switching over.
Not a very exciting day, but we did get a lot done. This weather is really starting to bug us!

Rich,
Think you may have a Monaco product so if you could wait, maybe a trip to the factory in Oregon might be in order to fix your slide. We have gone through the SD residency so if you have any ? give us a shout. Also, the yahoo group "Monacoers" is a good source for answering questions on your coach.
HI Rod,
We called the factory & they're booked until the end of June! We can't wait that long. We found a dealer in Gilroy that uses SealTech (www.rvleaks.com) which is some highly regarded stuff in the industry. Beats a sharp eye and a hose to find leaks.

Would like to hear about your thoughts on rvleaks after your appointment. Rvleaks is new to me and probably others leave a message on our blog. Cal State Fresno has a viticulture college and many of the vinyards around there have tours and tasting. One (can't remember the name)has almost the complete bottling goes to the Spanish/protugese sheepherders.
